The room had everything you could ask for and offered an amazing view.

We had a great stay in Ella not far from the train station and transport into town and to surrounding sites and the hill. Served breakfast with wonderful food, everything was outstanding. The location of the apartment was peaceful for our needs, on the trains...

The room was absolutely amazing! It had a private bathroom with a rain shower, and they even provided free toiletries. It felt so luxurious and made me feel pampered. As a disabled guest, having a private bathroom was a big plus for me.

Personally, I found the tile/marble floor in the double room a bit slippery. However, I understand that some guests may appreciate the aesthetic of it.

Incredibly nice and friendly staff at the property, beautiful rooms. Particularly good setting in a very nice and quiet area. Plus right by the main market and pub street, the touristy township and Ella railway station. Met needs well, strongly recommend...

We had a wonderful 10-day stay at Jayamali Homestay. The host family made us feel like we were visiting family, with their warm hospitality and kind-heartedness. The location was perfect - close enough to Ella for convenience, but still immersed in the beauty and tranquility of nature. The food was the best we had in all of Sri Lanka, with delicious meals that surprised us every time. The house itself was spacious and well-arranged, with cozy terraces, large balconies, and comfortable bedrooms. The cleanliness was impeccable. Justin's hospitality set a great example for all hosts. We absolutely loved our stay at this homestay! the family is loving, caring, and helpful. the room was clean and comfortable. the food was amazing, and we enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. Renting a scooter from the family made it convenient to get around. the host even helped us when our driver didn't show up for our planned trips. We can't thank the host and his family enough for their generosity and assistance!

super clean and comfy beds. located in a nice quiet area with beautiful views. got to experience local new year celebrations with the helpful family. they provided amazing sri lankan food for dinner and hoppers for breakfast. catered to my child's preferences. even upgraded our room for more space. arranged a great tour to Lipton Seat. walking distance to basic shops. overall - a delightful stay at Jayamali Homestay.

The hotel's decoration was charming and cozy, making me feel right at home. The general areas, such as the living room and dining area, were beautifully kept and had a cozy ambiance. As a senior woman, I really appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The pathways were well maintained and there were handrails in the common areas, which made it easier for me to get around.

I would have asked for better accessibility features in the bathroom for senior people.

The breakfast options at the homestay were delightful, with a variety of Asian and vegetarian dishes that left me satisfied and ready for the day's adventures. The flavors were so delicious, it felt like a culinary journey to remember!

We had an amazing stay at Jayamali Homestay in Ella. the beds were clean and spacious, offering a comfortable night's sleep. the highlight, however, was the delicious food they served us. It was truly the best we've had during our trip. the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. the bathrooms were clean and equipped with hot water, and the views from our room were absolutely breathtaking.

The location is convenient, just a short ride or a pleasant walk from town. Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property.

our stay at the homestay exceeded expectations. the family took care of all our needs and even arranged a take away breakfast for our early morning train. rooms were comfortable and the food was amazing, especially the cooking class. the location was perfect, away from the touristy areas. would definitely stay here again!
